NCC unit of GDC Nowshera got approval in September 2020 from the Directorate of NCC Jammu under the Unit 5 J&K BN NCC Poonch. College got 50 vacancies for the three year course which shall be equally divided in the three sessions. As the college is catering more than 800 students belonging to Nowshera and its adjoining border belt out of which more than 400 students are male, there is a great demand of students for joining NCC which will help them a lot to develop their personality and also will help them in joining the defense services. Dr. Akhil Khajuria Physical Training Instructor of the College was recommended as Care Taker for NCC unit. From the date of approval of NCC Unit the NCC unit of college organized various activities

1. An enrolment drive was conducted by NCC unit of GDC Nowshera on 15th of Oct. 2020.
2. A cleanliness drive was conducted by NCC Unit on 09th of Nov 2020
3. Theory classes conducted for NCC cadets
4. CTO of GDC Nowshera, Dr. Akhil Khajuria Attended orientation course conducted by NCC from 12 January 2021 to 23 January 2021 at Parade Ground Nagrota.
5. Online essay writing competition on the topic” Importance of Physical Activities / Training during lockdown”(29th of may 2021)
6. NCC Unit of GDC Nowshera in Collaboration with Career Counselling Cell of GDC Nowshera organized Yoga Photo Event on International Day of Yoga on 21/06/2021
